Spring has sprung and Easter is hopping just around the corner. This means lots of chocolate, bunnies, and egg-finding extravaganzas. Looking for some family fun for the weekend? Check out some of the fun Easter activities going on in the Central Florida area.

Magic 107.7 will be sponsoring an Easter event they call the Magic Egg Hunt in Longwood, FL. They boast that they have over 20,000 eggs to find. Kids of different ages are scheduled at different times, so check the website to find out when your child can participate. In addition to an egg hunt they will also have vendor booths, a basket decorating contest, and Easter Bunny photos. The event is free, but for a fee you can eat breakfast with the Easter Bunny if you choose. The Sharing Center will also be on hand to collect donations for those in need. If you want more animals in your Easter besides just bunnies, check out the Hippity Hop Adventure going on at the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford, FL on March 31 from 9-3. There are Bunny Stops all throughout the zoo and other Easter-themed activities, including the usual animal displays found at the zoo too. Please note that zoo admission is required, although there is not a specific charge for this event.
