Welcome, SportsTyme families! This year, we are celebrating SportsTyme’s 20th year of summer camp! To commemorate two decades of fun, we have lots of special surprises in store this summer—new vendors, unique activities, and special guest performances. Whether you are new or a returning camper, here are a few things you will want to know before your first day at Indian Trails Middle School this summer:
Drop-off and pick-up are from 8:30 am – 9:00 am and 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm, respectively. Enter through Keeth Elementary next door and follow the signs to the car loop. For your safety and the safety of our campers, please remain in your vehicle. SportsTyme will provide you with a car tag to display for safe and efficient pick-up. Early drop-off begins at 7:30 am, and late pick-up ends at 6:00 pm sharp. If you did not register for those extra services, you could add them anytime on our website ($10 per week for Early Arrival / $10 per week for Late Stay).
Campers should bring two snacks and a water bottle to camp. Athletic clothing is encouraged. Indian Trails Middle offers free hot lunches Mon-Thurs courtesy of Red Apple Dining. Menus are available here, and free breakfast is available for those arriving before 9:00 am.
Every Friday is Pizza Day, included with your registration this year. For lunch, campers get pizza, a drink, and a dessert. Alternatively, you can always choose to pack a lunch.
Every Thursday is Water Day. Campers will want to bring a swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes. Also, Kona Ice sells snow cones for $2/$3/$4/$5 (cash only).
Other special events occur throughout the summer at all our locations; you can view them on our calendar.
Want to check on your child’s behavior? SportsTyme uses a wristband system that allows campers to win prizes throughout the day. If your camper abides by the camp’s ‘Rules of Respect,’ they will still have their wristband at the end of the day.
SportsTyme has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying or inappropriate language. While I cannot promise bullying or inappropriate language will never occur at camp, I promise to address it immediately, so please report it.
We encourage campers to leave all personal electronic devices at home; however, electronics are allowed at camp. We allow campers to use their electronics only during drop-off, pick-up, and snack/lunchtime. Remember that SportsTyme will not be responsible for any lost or broken property.
If you need to contact the camp directly during the day, please call Coach Liz at (305) 972-6553. For questions related to registration, our office number is (407) 878-1590.
You can register for more weeks and check availability anytime by visiting our website- it is always kept up to date. We will upload camp photos on SportsTyme’s Instagram and Facebook pages, so be sure to check back there regularly and tag your friends. On behalf of our teachers and coaches, thank you so much for your support. We value you and your family very much.
